QSL side Al Rayyan have announced the signing of Qatari international defender Mohammed Kasola. The Lions confirmed on their official social media that the highly experienced player was signed from Al Sadd on Tuesday.
Kasola is considered one of the most sought-after defenders in the QSL. The Qatari international has accumulated 65 caps for the national team and was a fixture at the back for his former side Al Sadd. This is an important signing for Al Rayyan who are looking for stability in their defensive structure following the departure of Paraguayan international Victor Caceres.
The 31-year-old will now join his new team mates for training ahead of the 2017/2018 QSL season. Al Rayyan returned from their preseason training camp in Holland yesterday and will be anxiously awaiting their first league match against Al Khor on the 16th of September.
