The new LED floodlights of Hazza bin Zayed Stadium [The home ground of Al Ain Football Club], will illuminate this iconic facility in preparation for the FIFA CWC 2017.
The eco-friendly new LED floodlights are about 60 percent energy savers, and are introduced based on the development plans of Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) to have state-of-the-art stadia that will enable Abu Dhabi to host world-class football championships.
The floodlights, the first of their kind in the region, will shine brightly as of this week when the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium hosts AGL match betweenAl Ain and Shabab Al Ahli Dubai.
Hazza bin Zayed stadium will also host the opening match of the FIFA Club World Cup 2017 between Al Jazira of UAE and Auckland City of New Zealand on Wednesday, 6 December 2017.
Hazza bin Zayed stadium has been inaugurated in January 2014, and won number of prominent international prizes-including the best-designed- stadium prize.
